Tuscany, Italy Geografico Chianti Colli Senesi comes from hillside vineyards surrounding the town of Siena in southern Tuscany. It is 85% Sangiovese and 15% Canaiolo. We find this Chianti an excellent value. Geografico Chianti Colli Senesi is brick red in color with a nose of berries, cherries and spice. Light-medium in body with mild tannins and no oak, it has crisp acidity and flavors of cherry, blackberry, strawberry and spice. Well balanced to enjoy over the next 4-5 years, it is easy-going and food-friendly with a clean, smooth finish.
