Owned by the Stierschneider Family since 1862, Kartauser now has 7 hectares of top Wachau vineyard holdings, primarily on rock terraces with up to 60-degree inclines. Gruner Veltliner is the signature white varietal of Austria and a must-try for anyone seeking white wine alternatives to Chardonnay. Kartauser Gruner Veltliner is pale yellow-green in color with a nose of lemon, green apple, and mineral notes.
