Tuscany, Italy Geografico "Ferraiolo" Toscana is the Super Tuscan wine from Geografico made from vineyards in the Chianti Classico region. It is a blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine received an 89-point rating from Wine Spectator. Only 900 cases made. Geografico "Ferraiolo" is dark ruby red in color with a nose of cherry, cassis, blackberry, vanilla and spice. Full-bodied with moderate acidity and silky tannins, the wine offers robust flavors of blackberries, black cherries, black currants, vanilla, and oak. It was aged 14 months in French oak barrels. With beautiful richness and complexity, it offers enjoyment now and over the next 10-12 years. The finish is rich and enduring.
