PGA Tour golfer David and his brother Michel dedicate each vintage to a golf legend, donating $1 per bottle to a chosen charity. This third release from the 2000 vintage is dedicated to Gene Sarazen, who follows Sam Snead and Arnold Palmer. David Frost Merlot Reserve is deep ruby red in color with a nose of plums, cherries, black currants, mocha, leather and smoky oak. It is full-bodied with moderate acidity, firm tannins and rich flavors of plums, cassis, cherries, anise, and coffee. The wine was aged in 100% French oak barrels, 40% new.
